Today is great because I'm eight

We are so proud of Davis. He was baptized on August 30th and it was a very special day. We had lots of family there to support him and we are so thankful for all of their help! He was so excited when him and Mark were all ready and dressed in white. He asked me why we needed to have any talks or songs because he didn't need those to get baptized. Ah, if we could only listen to the children more often!

Doesn't Davis and Mark look so handsome in their suits! I bought Jack a new church outfit for the occasion, but that morning I couldn't even button up the shirt because he was too big!

Yeah for our family. We didn't manage to get everyone, but with so many loving family members and friends that is an impossible task.

We went to the park after for a little fun. It was very, very hot. I was envious of the kids playing in the fountain. It was a great day and Mom is very glad it is over........

Baby blessings and baptisms and mission farewells and homecomings-what ordeals! I'm so glad he got baptized. Davis looks so very dapper in his suit. It's too bad we couldn't come down for his or Ethan's baptisms, but it's great to see pics and hear about it on blogs. YAY for blogging!!

That is the sweetest thing that Davis said about not needing the songs and talks. He is the best! That gave me little chills on my arms. Oh, and that family picture of the four of you is so beautiful!
I need to show Noah these pictures of his baptism. So cool!
