Summer Fun

I looooooooove summer. We had a little picnic with my family and enjoyed the 100 degree weather. Don't worry there was lots of sunblock and shade! I went a little crazy taking pictures of the kids, but they are so much fun and my sisters camera is sooo much better than mine!

The Bean Museum

My friend Kristi and I took the boys to the Bean Museum over at BYU. Davis's favorite thing was the wolf that is behind him and I think all of the kids liked the alligator in one of the pictures below. Jack's favorite things was that he didn't have to stay in in stroller the whole time! It was a great place to take the kids to cool down and pass the time!

Play time

I needed to get the boys out, but I was not in the mood to smother sun block on both kids so I opted for lunch at the mall and then let the boys play around at the tree. The had a great time and used up some of that endless energy!

4th of July festivities

We had lots of fun for the 4th of July. This was the first year we were able to attend the "Side Walk of Fire". Every year one of the neighborhoods in our ward has a big party. They did a children's parade, a candy launch, Popsicles, potluck desert, glow sticks and a pretty great fire work show! It was lots of fun and my piro husband sure had a great time helping light off tons of fire works with his blow torch. We also went to the parade in Provo and then the next day headed up the Logan car show.

Davis picked out a design and we made t-shirts for both of the boys. It was a transformer 4th of July. I mean Optimus Prime is red, white and blue!

Aunt Suzie was helping me wrestle Jack since Mark was busy setting up fire works.

This is Jack and I enjoying the fireworks. I don't know how Amy got this picture. I think he only sat at watched for about 5 seconds!

The rest of the time he was trying to crawl through them to find his dad!

This is at the very beginning of the car show. Find the guy with the baby back pack. That is my husband who forgets everything including his wife when he is around cars! Don't worry Davis and I caught up eventually.....

Davis has a new obsession with corvettes. Judging by the color of this one I think it is because Bumble the transformer is a corvette.

Every year Mark gets excited about different car. This year he told me this is the car he wants to build. Last year it was an old truck with a wooden bed.

Jack's run of bad luck

I took Jack over to my sisters and while we were there his face began to have a little rash. By the time a got him home he looked terrible. We think he may have had an allergic reaction to the dogs licking him. I gave him a little benadryl and by the next morning he was good as new!

Then a week later he took a little tumble onto the gravel driveway. Poor kid, his face may never be the same!
