Memorial Day Hike
Mark and I were actually able to do something together on Memorial Day. We tested out our new baby jackpack up at Grove Creek.
I know it looks like it, but we didn't drug Jack so he would be good!
Water break!
There is a creek at the bottom and Jack was so excited when we just set him right in it. He had so much fun splashing and throwing rocks. He cried pretty hard when it was time to go.

Davis's first Pine Wood Derby!
This is Davis at his first Pine Wood Derby. It was quite an experience. Davis and Mark had fun building the "Gold Lightning"! Davis complained a little about all the sanding he had to do, and his poor little fingers couldn't hold down the gold spray paint can, but he helped as much as he could. However, it is in Dad's nature to help a little and man were those wheels fast!
This is Davis before the race began. I was happy he was still smiling because one of the older scouts told him there was no way his car could go fast because of how big it was. I told him not to worry because at least his car looked cool. He agreed and put a smile back on his face. (I know you are all wondering about the red mohawk. Mark took the kids to the school carnival right before the Derby and they had their hair painted)
Davis was very intense the whole time. I could not believe who in to this he was. There was no running around or goofing off. He stayed right by the track the whole time.Davis getting his award! He was so proud.

The scout leaders were awesome and I cannot believe how much work they put into this. They did not give out first, second and third places. Instead all of the boys got an award, which meant all the boys went home happy. I wish we could say the same thing for all the Dad's.......
Although my husband had a pretty big smile on his face all night!

Congratulations Hilary!
My baby sister got married last month. I am so happy for her and we love her new husband! They had a big BBQ instead of a reception and it was so much fun. I did take pictures, but they are all on my sisters memory card. This is one of their engagement pictures.
These are pictures of the boys all dressed up for the BBQ. Man they are good look'n!

Jack's First Birthday!
Can you believe our little man turned one? It is funny how the day to day seems to last forever, but the year flew by so quickly. Jack has added so much to our family. We are so thankful to have him and can't wait to see what the next year holds!
I still can't believe Jack was ever so little. The binkie practically covered his whole face!

This is a picture of Jack with Ivy his cousin that was born 2 days before him. This was the first time we were able to meet her! Isn't she adorable. I couldn't get them to smile. Jack's "stone cold" face must be contagious!

This is Jack at the end of the cake. He was so tired he kept rubbing his eyes and ears making a great mess.
