Redneck Therapy

To describe what kind of a family we are I believe Obama put it best, We cling to our Bibles and our Guns!

Today as Kelly puts it I was accessorizing (notice the tape measure hanging off my pocket) but with a little more than the tape measure.
If you just happen to be a bank teller this will give you some comfort, this is an old teller window out of a bank. The first few rounds are out of an XD .40, the next are out of a ruger 10 22 then a 5.7 x 28 and the large burst are both the .40 and the 5.7 x 28 after the large bust of rounds is a 38 special and finishing off everything is another clip of .40. We are shooting from about 30 ft away. (I'm not to interested in shooting any closer then that.)

Here's whats left after it was blown over by a shot gun. It was definitely good times and comes highly recommended as a good stress reliever.

Sunday Morning

I am not the only one exhausted before I even get to church on Sunday. Davis fell asleep on his scriptures waiting to have prayer on Sunday morning!

Fall Cleaning

Isn't it amazing how much crap gets under the couch cushions. These are pictures of the boys helping me vacuum out the couch during Saturday cleaning.

Cultural Event of the Summer!

Some people go to the symphony some to the ballet others to musicals but around here we get our culture in a much more practical and budget friendly way!

DEMOLITION DERBY!!!!

I've been to many derby's before but I will say Spanish Fork has hands down the best derby that I have been to.

This Beast made those Mary K caddies look like sissy cars.

Look at the satisfaction on their faces!

Some day I'll be out there bashing away in my own car. As for now I'll just instill in my boy a little bit of red neck.

They're Home!!!!!!

Yippee! I am soooo happy to have my parents home. It was a very exciting day. I could not believe how happy Davis and Dallin were to have Grandma and Grandpa home too. Davis worked very hard on the sign and we even checked him out of school to go to the airport!

Jack and I met them first because we were taking rides on the escalator! Check out the tears on my mom.

Group photo!

Davis had to try on every single necklace my parents brought home.

Grandpa showing off his new toy.

Jumping right back in to being Grandpa!

Davis turns the big 9

Davis decided to do his birthday at home this year because he wanted to invite so many friends. He was into the castle Lego sets at the time, so he wanted everyone to come over and play Legos and he and his Dad built a catapult for candy tossing and we watched the Tale of Despereaux. All of the boys were so good and they seemed to have a good time!

This is the awesome catapult! It looks a lot cooler than it actually was. It was flinging the candy funny so we ended up throwing most of it!

All the boys showing their loot.

Mark also decorated the birthday cake. Who needs a cake that says happy birthday when you can have a war scene on it.

Blowing out the candles.

Playing with Legos.

Jack didn't know quite what to do because he wasn't the center of attention, so he climbed right in the Lego bin so everyone had to pay attention!

24th of July

That is right. I am blogging about the 24th of July in October. Blogging is such a chore...

We took the boys down to the little 24th of July celebration in Provo and then we had a BBQ with Mark's family in our front yard!

Oquirrh Mountain Utah

I know I am a little behind, but better late than never!

As a family we went to the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain temple. The temple was beautiful and the boys were so good!
