So, everyone probably already knows this, but my husband is oozing with many talents. This is just one of the many reasons I married him. I have none and he has many, so it works out perfectly! Mark picked up this side job to help out and I thought it was pretty cool. He built the wood porch so there wouldn't be any ice or snow in front of the door for this older couple that lives up in Woodland hills. I guess they wanted something on their house to fit in with the forest they live in the middle of!

You know, all growing up Mark was always building things, but I am still always shocked at how awesome he really is at so much! He can build like anything...
This looks so great! Hey, steve just learned how to patch up dry wall! (out of necessity from a home improvement project gone bad.)Cute blog by the way! Jack is sooo big. He reminds me of Sam. Oh and I like your "polished turd" It looks so awesome. It's so nice to see a house with some color. I get a little tired of the sea of varying shades of brown.

You are very talented, you're a great mom for starters. I do love the porch. Someday (a very distant someday) we would like to put an awning in the back. We'll keep Mark in mind.
