Lego Obsession

I guess it is human nature to want want you can't have, so of course Jack is now obsessed with Davis's Lego box. If Davis's door is ever left open Jack crawls as fast as he can to the Lego bin!
I have started to let him play a little while I am watching to hopefully help him lose a little interest!

Outside Fun

Here are a few pictures of the boys and I enjoying some of the warm weather that didn't last.....

BYU Art Museum

For family home evening Jeff and Amy invited us to go to the BYU art museum. They were having an exhibit by Walter Wick. He created the I Spy series. It was a lot of fun and the kids were great! There were restrictions on what pictures we could take, so notice below we only have the words of the exhibit and the picture is cut off! The family.

It has begun.....

We kind of always figured that Jack would be pretty destructive, it seems to be in his nature and now it has begun.

This is Jack climbing over a bag of papers and in between the dresser and filing cabinet to get to a clock that is waiting for a battery. For some reason he is obsessed with clocks and is willing to overcome obstacles to get to them!
This is a picture of the dresser that Jack removed the handle of because he thought it would taste delicious.

Jack enjoying the fruits of his labor!

These are the things he does while I am on my computer, so this is why there are not very many updates.

The Blanket Nest!

Sunday's can be a little bit boring to kids, so Davis made a blanket nest for him and Jack. Jack was very excited to be included!

Jack's first pancake!

Jack is obsessed with people food now. We try to give him the baby food before we eat because if there is big people food on the table the baby food has no hope!

The Ultimate Man Valentine Box!

This is Davis's Valentine box for this year. He was telling Mark and I that he had a picture of what he wanted in his head, a fighter jet Valentine box. What a boy! Anyway, his talented father helped him create the box and he was very excited. They both even agreed to put heart stickers on it for me. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but on the top of the jet there is a slot to put Valentines and then they fall into the box.

My handsome chefs!

Mark was teaching Davis how to make Congo bars tonight! These are one of his favorite childhood treats. Good thing Ma Petersen gives us lots of recipes over the phone! They were delicious!
I think Davis's favorite part was licking the mixer!

Jack's 3rd haircut

These pictures are of Jack after his 3rd haircut. Yep he is 8 months old and I have had to cut his hair three times. Thank heavens for clippers.

Draper Temple Open House

We tagged along with Marci's family to the Draper Temple open house. (Thanks Marci's family)
Two shuttles broke down and it took us 3 hours, but the kids were exceptionally good and it was a great experience.

Mark and the boys waiting in the gym for the shuttles.

Marci's family, our adopted family!

Evan, looking dapper as always!

The boys and I still waiting for the shuttles.

Yippee, the shuttles arrived. Jack loved not being in a car seat!

Mike, Marci, Zack, and Evan. Don't the boys look ready to be done!

Although Zack had enough energy to give me this great smile!

Davis was so excited to stand up while the shuttle was moving.

Poor Evan, he was too tired for one last smile, but what a sweet face!

This is Marci's nephew Conner and her Dad. I think Conner is telling us the day was too long!
